True diversity is the result of methodical natural evolution. When humans interfere with this process, even if they have the purest of intentions, her beautiful colors, talents, strengths, and uniqueness suffers. The result is an artificial equilibrium that forces greatness into the shadows. When nothing stands out, mediocrity becomes the new apex. This downward spiral has only one possible outcome. If the random excellence of nature rots in obscurity, humankind will regress into animals.
Asatru was originally conceived as a celebration of nature and her symbiotic relationship with the exceptional Norse people. Modern Asatruar should be celebrating nature’s wonderful gifts, while casting aside those traits that pull our species backwards. Instead, it has suffered the same fate most organizations, including religions, are falling victim to. The desire to grow their ranks has silenced the voices of our Gods, and altered the history of our past.
There is no honor in abandoning the old ways out of societal fear or a desire for power. Embracing a forced diversity that praises the physically or mentally weak while shackling the strong is dagger in the heart of our ancestors. There is a place for almost everyone, but truth must be held above all else. One of the most powerful tools gifted to humanity by the Gods, empathy, is swinging at the necks of our Kindred from the hands of our enemies.
The natural evolution of strength, intellect, and loyalty to nation, community, and blood must be the foundation of our species for us to survive.
